How did ATX Giving get here?

ATX Giving was founded by Phil Sanger in April 2016. Phil has over 8 years experience working with nonprofits and schools to help streamline their fundraising events…specifically ones with an auction component.


In Spring 2010, Phil was a member of the Young Men’s Business League and was the Silent Auction chair for their annual event, Auction Under 40. Phil used an auction software company called Greater Giving to help manage the auction and securely process credit cards for the event. Soon after, Phil was hired on to Greater Giving and worked in a Sales/Marketing role for over 5 years at the company. In addition to meeting with nonprofits and schools to show the benefits of Greater Giving, Phil worked several of these events as an Event Manager to ensure everything run smooth for these organizations in Texas, Michigan and Wisconsin. Based on the knowledge Phil gained by working with all these nonprofits and schools, ATX Giving was born.
